River Tunga serenely flows along the 20 Acres of Riverview farm. The guest accommodation lies on the river bank with rooms facing the Tranquil Tunga River. The region around farm is blessed with outstanding natural beauty, panoramic river views and lush greenery. The local tourist attractions are only a short drive away from Harakere Farm. River View Farm Homestay Shimoga is located 3 Kms from Shimoga bus terminal and 6 kms from Shimoga railway station. A major part of Shimoga district lies in the Malnad region of the Western Ghats, a hilly area known for its green forests, plentiful rainfall. The climate is tropical with summer average temperature 20°C - 35°C and the average annual temperature of Shimoga District is around 26°C. The winter and the early part of summer are typically dry periods. Majority of the rainfall occurs between June and early October.
